The crucial and biggest problem with blue light after sunset is its effect on our nervous system. After dark, the light fools your brain into thinking it's the wrong time of day. This interrupts your sleep cycle and can have a negative effect on your health, especially over a long period of time. Difference between LEDs and fire
LED spectrum
We speak of blue light at a wavelength of approx. 380 to 495 nanometres (nm). It is short-wave and very energy-rich light. Modern displays, LEDs and energy-saving lamps have a disproportionately high share of blue light. This stimulates certain photoreceptor cells and can lead to a dysregulation of your sleep-wake rhythm. This can have a negative effect on your hormones and metabolism. (1)
Fire (candlelight)
Before we were able to turn night into day through the invention of electricity, there were only natural sources of light in the form of fire. The big and decisive difference to today's light sources is the distribution of the light spectrum. Blue and green are hardly present in candlelight, as can be seen in the graph. Furthermore, fire has no flicker effect, which can stress your nervous system. Therefore, fire usually has a calming effect.

A systematic review by Hester et al. (2) comes to the following conclusion:
Out of the 24 publications focusing on sleep, there was substantial evidence for blue-blocking glasses being a successful intervention for reducing sleep onset latency in patients with sleep disorders, jet lag, or variable shift work schedules. Given the well-established biological mechanism and clinical research showing that blue-blocking glasses are effective for inducing sleep, they are a viable intervention to recommend to patients with insomnia or a delayed sleep phase.

One point deduction, wegem the qualitatively not 100% convincing glasses frame
Ordering was very easy and quick, the glasses were also delivered to me quickly. They sit comfortably and easily on the nose, so I can really wear them for a long time at a stretch, without that I feel them great or they would bother me.
The only minus point is the quite simple of the quality acting frame. Since I test the glasses, however, only a few weeks, I can not say whether the quality at the end of the day fully convinced and thus the 5th star may be awarded.
Overall, I can recommend the Lichtblock glasses, however.

Super great products - fast delivery - mega effect
The light blocker glasses are really wonderful - I ordered the bundle and can now look individually what just fits. Since I often have to work on the computer in the evening, my nights are now much more relaxed since I use the glasses.
Fall asleep faster, sleep better through the night
After ordering the glasses, they arrived at my home just 2 days later.
Wear them every evening for 2 hours before going to bed and feel DEEPLY that my body comes to rest, my eyes turn off and I become more tired.
The first evening was of course a bit unusual, due to the fact that everything is perceived more orange. From the 2nd evening, however, this was no longer a problem. Even when watching movies, I do not feel any impairment by the colored lens, only light blue colors are perceived slightly differently.
Fall asleep much faster and better through the glasses
I wear the glasses for almost a month in the evening and find that I fall asleep much better and also through. I am very satisfied, although a wider range of shapes would be nicer.

The Oro is a bit more expensive, but you get a high quality frame that is absolutely robust and can be super adjusted to the head. I already had glasses in light orange and have now bought the Oro in dark orange, because I wanted to improve my sleep even more. I put the glasses on and get tired within 10 minutes. Love them. 👌
The glasses are really great. I wear them in the evening and am actually tired much faster. The yellow light is very pleasant for the eyes and the mood. Also, the service is excellent. Super, pleasant glasses. Totally relaxes the eyes. Sleep is much better. Watching TV is great with the glasses, does not distort the image, you have to get used to the fact that the colors appear warmer (more yellow), but after a short time you get used to it and it is just pleasant. I am now finally no longer pushed up by the television and I go to bed relaxed. Really only to recommend. Such a simple and inexpensive way to improve his quality of life. TOP!!!
